Granville Golf Club is a classic seaside links with a history stretching back to 1912. After significant investment and a substantial redesign in more recent years, the course is now playing to its full potential — 27 holes in total, with the main 18-hole layout reaching close to 7,000 yards from the back tees. The front nine is a relentless test before the relatively more forgiving back nine offers the opportunity to recover a scorecard that may have suffered on the outward half.
The coastal scenery throughout the round is exceptional, with views across the sea framing beautifully crafted fairways. The par-33 nine-hole course is an ideal companion piece for an after-lunch outing or a second shorter round. A clubhouse restaurant and bar provide good post-round comfort. Granville makes a compelling addition to any Northern Brittany golf break, and the natural links challenge it presents is one of the more authentic golf experiences available on France’s Atlantic coast.
